Using an Applique Pressing Sheet for Fusible Applique

When we talked about fusible applique on episode 405 of the talk show, the talk show format didn’t give us the room to demonstrate some of the techniques involved, like using an applique pressing sheet! Happily, we’ve remedied that with a new technique video showing some tips and best practices for fusible applique, particularly when you have to layer multiple pieces.

If you’re not familiar with the pressing sheet, there are several types available; Lynn is using a Goddess sheet, and parchment paper is a lower cost alternative if you can find it in your local grocery store.

  1. I have never heard of using a Godess sheet. Is it like using a teflon baking sheet?
