Well, it’s the last week of blocks, and then it’s all over except for the crying! (and top assembly and quilting and binding, but you get the gist). We’re finishing strong with the final blocks this week, with numbers 13 through 16.
We’re using Daisy Frederick’s “Bookshelf Quilt” pattern on Craftsy. The cost is $5.95, and in that you get all 16 blocks for the bookshelf pattern and the assembly instructions for the basic bookshelf.
Here are Pam’s versions of the blocks for this week:
You can dip into the scrap bin to pull out all those skinny strings that aren’t worth saving for binding to finish up these blocks.
Also, congrats to Deanna for winning the midpoint Linky check-in! The wrap-up Linky will go live next week and stay up for a couple weeks to allow for check-ins with the final tops.
Hopefully you’re all reading something good; while travelling, Pam read the final book in the Temeraire Napoleonic dragon series and the latest volume from Mindy Kaling, “Why Not Me?“. Both are delightful for different reasons.
We’ll be back next week to talk about to bookshelf assembly and tips for jazzing up your shelf and quilting the books!
