Free Motion Quilting Club, Series 1

The Free Motion Quilting Club is a guided program to introduce 12 free motion quilting designs on a domestic machine. Encourage local quilters to gather to practice, share designs, and discuss their tips for machine set-up. This program comes with:

  • Getting Started with Free Motion Quilting Guide
  • FMQ Troubleshooting Guide
  • 12 FMQ design handouts with tips on when to use the design, the basic process, things to watch out for, and illustrations.
  • 6 project handouts to use the quilted samples to make a sewing machine mat, wine bag, tetrahedron pouch, simple zippered pouch, composition book cover, and coffee cup sleeve.

Yada Yada Quilt

The Yada Yada quilt is a teaching sampler quilt. The blocks are designed to make use of basic quilting units: half square triangles, flying geese, and quarter-square triangles (hourglass) units. The blocks increase in difficulty as the program progresses to help quilters gain skills in these basic units as twelve different construction techniques are covered.

With entertaining block titles and new techniques, you’ll not have quilters skipping over the good parts of this program!

This program comes with:

  • Instruction sheets for 12 different blocks to teach
  • Instructions for three finishing options:
    • A 12-block traditional layout with dynamic flying geese border
    • A 12-block modern layout with oversized setting blocks
    • A “You Tried” layout that uses only 9 blocks, in case quilters want to skip some blocks that aren’t to their taste, or they missed a month or two.
  • Shop instructions for kitting, upselling, and more

Yada Yada Quilt Block of the Month program

Quilt Lit 201

Quilt Lit 201 is a combination book club and block of the month program. The blocks are inspired by classic literature and traditional quilt blocks, with a total of twelve 10” finished blocks. The blocks increase in difficulty as the program progresses, using units like half square triangles, pinwheels, v-blocks, and quarter square triangles. Shop instructions for kitting, upselling, and more are also included.

This program comes with

  • Instruction sheets for 12 different blocks, including quilty book club discussion guide
  • Instructions for three finishing options:
    • “Classic” 12-block sampler layout using one of each block in an on-point setting,
    • “Plot Twist” layout using 25 blocks as a border with an oversized center.
    • “You Tried” layout using only 8 blocks, for quilters who couldn’t quite make it to the end.

Quilt Lit 201 Block of the Month Program

Quilt Lit 101

Quilt Lit 101 is a block of the month program and book club rolled into one program! Twelve 10″ finished blocks are paired with twelve English Literature classics with finishing instructions for three different layouts.  Discussion questions are included for each book and block combination to start the conversation in a group or bee setting, or just use the blocks as monthly instructions as part of a traditional BOM program. The blocks increase in difficulty as the program progresses to help quilters gain skills in basic units including four patches, half-square triangles, and more.

This program comes with

  • Instruction sheets for 12 different blocks, including quilty book club discussion guide
  • Instructions for three finishing options:
    • A classic 3 x 4 block sampler layout using one of each block in simple setting,
    • A “Packed Shelf” layout using a total of 25 blocks with two borders,
    • A “Plot Twist” layout using 25 blocks as a border with an oversized center.
  • Shop instructions for kitting, upselling, and more

Quilt Lit101 Block of the Month Program

Filmore Quilt BOM

The Filmore Quilt is a modern sampler quilt. The blocks for Filmore are designed in pairs: one traditional block and one modern twist on the same block, for a total of twelve 12” finished blocks. The blocks increase in difficulty as the program progresses to help quilters gain skills in basic units including four patches, half-square triangles, flying geese, v-blocks, and more.

This program comes with

  • Instruction sheets for 12 different blocks,
  • Instructions for three finishing options:
    • A traditional layout with a bonus 13th feature block in the center
    • A modern layout with plenty of negative space to show off quilting skills
    • A “you tried” layout that uses only 8 blocks, in case quilters want to skip some blocks that aren’t to their taste, or they missed a month or two.
