National Coloring Day is September 21!

We are so excited to share our celebration plans for National Coloring Day! While this is a US holiday, we’re celebrating it world-wide on September 21. Similar to our National Quilting Day color theory lecture, we’re doing a live 1-hour lecture through our learning platform with a series of challenges that include vacations, desserts, and, of course, quilts.  In lecture, Lynn and I will be going through a series of color-inspired challenges that will have us pulling real fabrics to meet different design challenges, and showing actual blocks make from those fabrics.

In addition to the lecture on the 21st at 10am US Eastern, we’re also offering a free project sheet for the two-block quilt made of the blocks we’re using in our challenges.  We call this quilt “Eat Dessert First”, for reasons that will become obvious during the lecture.

If you sign up for the lecture before Sept 21, the cost is only $5 for the lecture and project sheet. After the 21st the price will go up to $10. If you can’t watch the lecture live at 10am on the 21st, fear not, you can sign up for the lecture ahead of time for the discount price and watch it any time thereafter at your leisure.
