Introducing the Sewlebrity Soft Pants Stitch-In!

We are pleased to introduce a new monthly show to complement our Stitch TV Show talk show episodes and virtual stitch-ins! ┬áIn the Sewlebrity Soft Pants Stitch-In, Pam and Lynn talk to “sewlebrities” in the quilting and sewing world about their creative journey and passions, and ask some hard-hitting questions about some fairly frivolous things.

In our inaugural episode, we talk with very special guests, mascots of The Stitch TV Show, Stitch and Vinnie! Find out what they have to say (or what they don’t have to say?), and stay tuned for our first interview with a real sewlebrity on Friday June 2.

Why “soft pants”, you ask? Well, as Pam says in her house, the best kind of pants are no pants, but that is inappropriate for YouTube, so soft pants are the next best thing. The SSPSI episodes will come out monthly on the first Friday, so join us as we make new friends in the sewing room!

  2. I enjoy your show via the podcast. I am a long- time listener of HiptobeSquare too. I wonder if you might sometime address the issue of patterns that do not use easy/quick piecing methods in their directions? Do you really cut out each of the100 triangles as directed to make the flying geese or half-square triangle units (for example)? I understand this when it is a scrap quilt, but if all those geese or half-square triangles are going to be the same fabrics, why not do the units in a faster, simpler way? I find it frustrating to have to recalculate the fabric cutting dimensions so I can use a more efficient method. Knowing how efficient Pam is with her quilting, I couldn’t help. Wonder how she handles this. Thanks
