Pam and Lynn chat about different techniques for making landscape quilts, and using non-traditional fabrics in quilts. Note that we’re filming remote due to the current health concerns, but as of the time of this posting, we’re both healthy.

Thanks for the mention on your latest show. Very kind remarks. I am also grateful to have pieces by you both.

Our guild has a Mixed Media challenge. A fat quarter, 1 fat eight, and 2 swatches of shiny fabric like silk in texture. The 2 cottons are the 2 least liked colors used by quilters ( garish gold and purple like lilac print). Make any project but use half of fq and fat eighth. And put in 4 dif places in the project. Shiny fabrics used as much or little as you wish but must see it in project. Thanks for the tips on working with various fabric types on your landscape episode.
I would enjoy a future show topic on Color. Why do some of us like brights and others civil war etc. and why we avoid certain colors?
Stay well
Cheryl
