Hopefully you’re all underway with top construction and gearing up for the Star Wars movie premier in a few weeks. I wanted to let everyone know I’ve gotten some feedback that the fabric requirement for the background fabric, particularly for the lap size, was underestimated. I’m so sorry about that!
Depending on how you cut your pieces, you may be short as little as half a yard and as much as one yard; please accept my apology on that. I’ve gone back and upped the requirement in the original fabric requirements for anyone else doing the quilt along in the future. For good measure I also upped the twin size requirement by half a yard as well.
For those of you finishing the top but not the quilt in time for holiday gift giving, I wanted to share the certificate to accompany if you want to use it. It’s created on Google Docs, so you can either access it through Google Drive on this public link (save a copy to your own Google Drive account to modify it), or download the PDF from our site here: Unfinished Quilt Certificate.
There are two versions of the certificate – one is sort of standard and the other has a little fun with the Star Wars theme.
Thanks for playing along!
